IT'S time to get in step and help our Kent Hospices in the 2003 KM/Shepher Neame Charity Walk
The event, on May 18, is the eighth organised annually by the Kent Messenger Group and brewers Shepherd Neame who are hoping to exceed the magnificent £65,700 sponsorship raised in 2002.
The walk will start and finish at the Hop Farm Country Park, Beltringe, and will incorporate a long route of around 12 miles and a short walk along the Medway river and then through farmland, orchards and hop fields.
Sponsorship raised will go to nine Kent Hospices. They are Demelza House, near Sittingbourne, the Heart of Kent, Aylesford; Lions, Northfleet; Pilgirms at Canterbury, Ashford and Margate; the Eleanor Foundation, Dartford, Hospice in the Weald, Pembury, and Wisdom Hospice, Rochester.
Refreshments will be available at the start and finish and at the half way stage. Successful entrants will be awarded a certificate.
Entry fees: Adult £6, family of two adults and up to two children £12, additional children £2.
To take part and an entry form please call the Promotions, Publicity and Public Relations Department, Kent Messenger Group, on 01622 794643.
