Big chill: Arctic temperatures to plunge Kent into wintry weather
07:29, 24 April 2017
Kent is set to be plunged right back into winter this week, with temperatures hitting the zero mark.
While the region basks in a balmy 15C today, it is all set to change from tonight, with widespread frost forming and the thermometer plummeting to zero.
Tomorrow, weather pundits are predicting sleet, hail and even thunder by the afternoon, with hail and thunder expected for Wednesday.
But Kent won't be the worst hit in the Arctic blasts - northern parts of Scotland could suffer snow falls.
