Drivers from the FIA World Touring Car and Formula 2 Championships find a slower form of transport at the London Golf Club
Brands Hatch hosts a double header this weekend with the World Touring Car Championship and the F2 Championship both taking place at the Kent circuit.
Last week drivers from both championships went head to head at the London Golf Club, which is near Brands Hatch, with Touring Car racer Rob Huff and Formula 2 drivers Henry Surtees, Alex Brundle, Jolyon Palmer and Edoardo Piscopo playing at the home of the European Open.
The club’s head professional Paul Stuart put them through their paces with Huff being the pick of the bunch.
Stuart said: "Golf is quite far removed from racing a car, although I think if you have a strategic mind it can be applied to both sports. The drivers’ competitive streaks have definitely shown through too – they were all after a bit of one-upmanship!"
Huff is the top British driver in the World Touring Car Championship and heads into the UK round sitting fifth in the standings.
Frenchman Yvan Muller leads the championship ahead of Italian Gabriele Tarquini.
In the the F2 championship, six British drivers will be aiming for glory and out to beat leader Andy Soucek from Spain.
The British drivers have some catching up to do, however, with top home challenger Alex Brundle sitting way down in 15th after six rounds.
The support race line-up includes Formula Master, SEAT Leon Eurocup and the Lotus Elise Trophy, while the Red Devils parachute display team are also planning to drop in on raceday.
Raceday admission on Sunday is £24, while children 12 and under are admitted for free.
