Andy Hessenthaler saluted striker Danny Kedwell after he rescued Gillingham for the second weekend running.
The Gills front-man fired home a last-minute equaliser in a 3-3 draw to take their first round FA Cup tie against Bournemouth to a replay.
It came a week after Kedwell converted an injury-time penalty to see off Northampton in the league.
"He is fantastic and I can’t praise him enough," said Gillingham boss Hessenthaler.
"All of the players dug in on Saturday but he does that every week.
"I know what I get from Danny Kedwell. He will always give his all and I am delighted for him.
"Some days it doesn’t work out for him but I like to know what I get from players week in, week out consistently and he is one of those players."
Kedwell’s strike took his goal tally for the season to seven and earned the Gills a replay at Priestfield on Tuesday, November 22.
