BRANDS HATCH owners have sealed a new three-year deal to continue hosting World Superbike action at the circuit.
MotorSport Vision (MSV) concluded a deal with Superbike organisers FG Sport to keep one of the highlights of the British motor-racing calendar at the Kent venue.
Reigning Champion James Toseland is sure to make next year's event, on July 30-August 1, a special occasion as the Brit sets about defending his title.
Speculation regarding Brands Hatch's part in the sports future had been rife, and MSV managing director Jonathan Palmer was extremely happy to have negotiated a deal, which will see the series remain until at least 2007.
Palmer said: "I am delighted to have agreed a new contract. World Superbikes has produced some quite brilliant racing this year and is clearly going to be even stronger in 2005."
FG Sport CEO Paolo Flammini said. "We are very excited about the development of a long-term co-operation with MotorSport Vision, which I'm sure will generate a huge success."
