Bumper crowd expected for Golden Jacket final

00:00, 23 February 2007

CRAYFORD Greyhound Track will host its biggest race of the year on Saturday.

The Golden Jacket final will take place at 1pm with the winner receiving £12,500.

The event is one of the best known greyhound races in the country, after it received early television coverage when it was previously held at Harringay.

It has been run at Crayford since 1987 and is expected to attract a big crowd.

Entrance is free and the race will also be shown live in high street betting shops across the country.
