Butter the goat mauled by dog

Police are investigating a savage and unprovoked attack on a goat.

The incident happened in the Darland Banks Nature Reserve, Gillingham on Sunday.

The goat,named Butter, was left with such horrific injuries that it had to be put down.

Police have appealed for help to trace the owner of a dark-coloured Staffordshire bull terrier believed to have been responsible.
