Callum Davies pleased with first full Football League game for Gillingham

Callum Davies will always remember his Football League debut.
It came two years ago against Crewe when he was just 17, and ended with him being sent off.
The 19-year-old has had to wait a long time for another start, but having been on the bench at Wycombe last week he got the nod to replace the suspended Tom Flanagan at Dagenham.
Davies said: "My first 90 minutes has been a long time coming, and it’s the first time I have actually finished a game that I started!
"It’s just nice to get a chance to show what I can do. I’ll just have to wait and see what happens. Hopefully I have made a mark, and want to keep rolling now and see where it takes me."
Davies – who has been at Priestfield since the age of seven, under the guidance of Bryan Bull, Mark Patterson, Andy Hessenthaler and Darren Hare – enjoyed the experience despite the wet weather.
He admitted: "I enjoyed playing in that, I prefer it to a really hot day. It was a good team performance, and at the end of the day it was good to get three points.
"We have got a great bunch of lads in the squad, we have got to keep pushing on, keep winning, and see where we can go as a side."
