Cashpoint robber armed with needle

RainhamA MUGGER who robbed a man of £40 threatened his victim with what looked like a hypodermic needle. The victim told police he was approached by a man holding what appeared to be the needle as he drew money from a cashpoint at Parkwood Shopping Centre, in Rainham.
The attacker snatched £40 from his hand before attempting to grab the wallet. It fell to the ground. Following the attack, around 4pm on Monday, May 6, the man ran to a dirty white Fiesta. The rear windscreen was broken and a man and woman were sitting inside.
The robber was white, aged around 20 to 22. He wore a black jacket, dirty blue denim jeans and white trainers. The man in the car wore a fleece top. The woman had ribbons in her hair.
