Chance to Horse around in Halfway
12:57, 30 January 2009
A riding centre is encouraging youngsters to come along and learn more about horses and ponies.
Danley Marshes Riding Centre in Power Station Road, Halfway, opened as a riding school in August last year.
But as well as teaching children to ride, the centre also aims to educate them in all aspects of horse care and management – so that they know there is more to having a horse than just riding it.
The centre, which is run by Karen and David Mosdell, offers two clubs where children can spend their time mucking out, grooming and feeding the horses.
To find out more about Danley Marshes Riding Centre, or to book your child a place in the club, please phone 07519636124
