The man fell from a car park at the Pentagon Shopping Centre
A man who died after falling from a multi-storey car park in Chatham was a 57-year-old from Gillingham.
The man, who is believed to have jumped from the Medway Council car park in the Pentagon Shopping Centre on Friday, is yet to have been named.
Despite police officers trying to treat him, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
He fell from the multi-storey car park on the side of Solomon Road at about 11.20am.
Shocked shoppers and people working nearby spoke of their horror said they were horrified to have seen the man jump - before a sheet was put over him.
A Kent Police spokesman added officers were satisfied the man's death was non-suspicious and have prepared a report for the coroner.
