Kent's Children's Awards presentation event, organised by Wards, will be a day to remember for all involved

Fun, joyous, memorable and packed full of fancy dress!
Just some of the words and phrases you could use to describe The Children's Awards and its presentation event planned for later this year.
Promising a day to remember, the celebration is an exciting and uplifting occasion for all the award winners.
Between now and May we hope to collect as many nominations as possible for the six award categories before our judging panel will meet to discuss potential finalists.
But once the winners have been debated and decided, thoughts and efforts will turn to rolling out the red carpet for the biggest and best finale event organisers can come up with and the part everyone looks forward to the most.
Each annual event has a theme and this year's presentation will be no different.
Following in the footsteps of a Halloween party, a fairytale ball and a superhero bash this year's celebration is set to have all of the magic of storytelling and children's books.
Alongside fancy dress and wonderful food will be superb decorations at the venue and live entertainment for the children to ensure the event has all the hallmarks of an excellent awards party.
But none of that can happen without your nominations, which you can send to us here.
We are relying on you, our readers, to tell us about children, families and charities deserving of an award for their bravery, hard work, dedication or triumph over adversity.
Nominating someone you know is quick, easy, is done online and costs nothing.
