13:10, 23 January 2009
Climate change will be the subject of a free public lecture in Chatham later this month.
Dr Andrew Haggart is presenting the talk at the University of Greenwich at Medway, Pembroke Building, Central Avenue, Chatham, on Wednesday, January 28.
An expert in human-induced environment change, Dr Haggart is a researcher and lecturer in the School of Science at the University of Greenwich at Medway.
He said: “Most of us living in Medway have a comfortable existence compared to the majority of the other 6.7 billion inhabitants of our planet. We must not be complacent, however. Climate change will affect us all.”
The event starts at 6.30pm, and is tickets only.
