BOWLERS planning to enter the annual Margate open tournament this summer are reminded that the closing date is February 28.

Entry forms for the event which is to be held at the St George’s Lawns, Cliftonville, between Monday, June 25, and Saturday, July 4, are available from the Thanet IBC.

Chairman Bernard Allen said: "A great deal of work is going on to improve the greens this year, which I am confident will be in good condition."
