Clubs move leagues in football reshuffle
09:14, 12 May 2006
THREE Kent sides have been moved across the non-league pyramid as a result of the Football Association's latest restructuring process.
Dartford, Sittingbourne and Chatham have all been switched to the Ryman League from the Southern League. They will play in Division 1 South next season along with newly-promoted Maidstone United, who won the Kent League.
Other Kent clubs already in the division are Ashford Town, Cray Wanderers and Dover Athletic.
Promoted Ramsgate and Tonbridge will play Canvey Island in the Ryman League Premier Division after the Islanders withdrew from the Nationwide Conference.
