Cornwallis School

00:00, 23 July 2004

AFTER two years of hard work, it was time for The Cornwallis sixth form to smarten up and say farewell with an evening of fun at Leeds Castle.

The evening started in style with people arriving in limos, old Rolls-Royces and executive cars.

The girls had spent hours getting ready and don't we scrub up well in our sparkling ball gowns? The boys did OK too, turning up wearing a wide variety of suits, waistcoats and tuxedos.

Pictures were taken with the castle as a backdrop before enjoying a three-course dinner. During the meal there were speeches and presentations. Awards were given to mark events that had happened during the last two years (Lee now knows what rubbish is).

The night was completed by dancing to Dance Fantaisa Roadshow with a variety of music.

The event was a success with everyone enjoying themselves. I would like to wish all my fellow students good luck for the future and to thank all Cornwallis teachers for their support and hard work during our school years.
