Arrests after reports of courier fraud in Maidstone, Medway, Gravesham and Thanet

A man and a woman have been arrested following a string of alleged courier frauds throughout Kent.
Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate carried out a warrant at a property in Covent Garden, London, onTuesday, January 2.
Following that a man and woman both aged 20 and from west London were arrested.
They were both released on bail until Thursday, February 15, while enquiries continue.
Officers seized six phones and three high value designer watches as part of their investigation.
Between Friday, December 1, last year and yesterdaythere were around 90 reports of fraud activity in areas including Medway, Gravesham, Thanet and Maidstone.
