Danny Jackman says Gillingham need to start games the way they finished the one against Burton Albion

Danny Jackman believes the second half performance against Burton was a sign that Gillingham can be a colossus in League 2 this season.
The midfielder provided the ammunition for all three goals in Saturday’s win as the Gills came on strong in the second half at Priestfield.
Jackman said: "What we were lacking in the first half was that urgency and that little bit of a spark. We did well in the second half and that was nice.
"Unfortunately we were sloppy with certain things that we did and that’s a bit frustrating but you can send out a big message to people when you really put teams to the sword.
"It was nice to get the goals early in the second half and that took the pressure off us.
"We need to start games like that and if we do we will blow teams away. It is important that we start well, especially in this league. We have the players and the squad to perform but we just have to start well."
Two wins follow a run of four games without a victory and Jackman knows a level head is needed whatever the form is.
He said: "You are always slightly wary that you can drop back into bad habits. At the same time if we keep doing what we have been doing to get us the joy then we shouldn’t get in that situation again. As long as we don’t get sloppy and think it is too easy there is no reason we should have a blip again."
