Delivery driver punched in face

A TAKE-AWAY delivery driver was punched in the face by a thug who leaned through his open car window and demanded money.
The 21-year-old victim had just taken food to a house in Speedwell Close, Gillingham, when the unprovoked attack happened.
When he stopped at the junction with The Vineries, a man approached his car and punched him through the window abd demanded cash. He managed to drive away and escape before anything else happened.
A spokesman for Medway Police said: “The offender is aged between 16 and 19, about 5ft 6in and of slim build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black round neck long sleeve jumper and black jogger bottoms.”
