A BURGLAR broke into a house through the front door and walked out of the back door with an expensive laptop.
The burglary happened at an address in Richmond Road, Gillingham, between 3pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday, January 18.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the burglary or anything something suspicious at the time to contact them.
The house had been left locked by the homeowner but the thief forced the front door open.
Investigating PC Chris Curtis said “There is a school nearby and, as the offence took place mid-afternoon, we believe there would have been parents and children about who may have seen something or someone behaving suspiciously.
“If you were in the area then and saw anything unusual, please contact me on 01634 884035.”
Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. Calls to Crimestoppers are free and you don’t have to leave your name.
