Kent: Do you learn the language before you go on holiday?

It's that time of the year when people across Kent head to warmer climates for a holiday.
But before you leave, do you learn a few phrases so you can talk to the locals or do you just get by?
Research by the British Council has found 72% of people make an effort to learn basic phrases such as greetings, please and thank you before jetting off.
But do you think learning the language before going on holiday is important? We asked shoppers in Rochester.
