Dover manager Andy Hessenthaler saw his side take a point on their Blue Square South debut on Saturday.
Having arrived at the ground late due to traffic problems, Dover were on the back foot early on.
But they came back into the game and had their best chance when Jon Wallis saw a long range drive well saved.
The home side again caused problems in the latter stages of the first half and Mark Nesbitt had a header hit the bar.
Chances were few and far between in the second period, before the home side found themselves reduced to 10 men in the last 10 minutes after Jamal Fyfield was sent off for two yellow cards.
