Cray Wanderers retained their hold on fifth place in the Ryman League Premier Division with a 3-1 victory at Margate at Easter Monday.
Sam Long atoned for his dismissal against Harrow Borough on Saturday with a 33rd-minute opener but Margate equalised almost immediately through John Beales.
James Darvill put Cray ahead again midway through the second half and then a Tommy Whitnell penalty made sure of the three points.
Folkestone Invicta gave their play-off qualification chances in Ryman League Division 1 South a big boost by winning 2-0 in their local derby at Hythe Town.
Fourth-placed Invicta are now six points in front of three teams in joint fifth place, having played a game more, thanks to second half goals from Darren Marsden and Josh Burchell.
One of the three chasing teams are Maidstone United who won 1-0 at Corinthian-Casuals courtesy of a 24th-minute strike from Baff Addae.
Struggling Sittingbourne fought back from 2-0 down at half-time to draw 2-2 at home with Faversham Town.
Goals from James Peacock and Dave Botterill gave Faversham their interval advantage, and then Joe Nwoko and Eli Kayembe earned the Brickies a point in the second half.
The other Kent derby in this division between Whitstable and Ramsgate at Belmont ended goalless.
The all-Kent clash in Ryman 1 North saw Thamesmead Town win 2-1 at Chatham Town with the 'Mead's goals coming from Jack Hopkins and David Noel.
