ROCK legends Uriah Heep are playing in Kent in between a tours of South America and Europe.
The melodic heavyweights who have sold millions of albums, CDs and DVDs to legions of fans for more than 30 years will play a one-off concert at the Pavilion in Harbour Street, Broadstairs, on Friday, October 13.
Keyboard wizard Phil Lanzon, who lives in the town, said: "A friend of ours has cancer and asked if we could help raise funds. We had a spare date in between touring and are happy to help in any way possible.
"We looked at a range of venues and then thought, 'let’s play Broadstairs', which obviously suits me fine."
If you want to see Heep rock Broadstairs in aid of Macmillan cancer relief, tickets are £15 from Sound House records in Broadstairs High Street.
