Fight to free cyclist trapped under car

Firefighters and paramedics fought to free a cyclist trapped under a car after a crash
in Rainham on Tuesday morning.
The accident happened in Deanwood Drive at about 10.45am.
The cyclist,thought to be in his 30s, became trapped under a silver Ford Mondeo after the accident.
Emergency services, including the Kent Air Ambulance were sent to the crash scene, which was sealed off by police.
Firefighters and paramedics worked together to free the man, who is thought to have sustained a head injury.
The road was closed off from its junction with Long Catlis Road, and police stopped motorists from driving down Deanwood Drive.
The air ambulance was seen hovering over the area trying to find a place to land.
One witness, who did not want to be named, said she saw the man trapped under the car with blood was pouring from wounds to his head.
