Fire in Folkestone

A man has been rescued from a flat after a kitchen fire in Folkestone.
A crew from Folkestone fire station were called to the property in Church Street at 12.40am today.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire on the first floor of the building using a hose reel.
The occupant, who was suffering from slight smoke inhalation, had to be rescued by the crew and was treated by paramedics on the scene.
