Firefighters tackle major blaze
08:14, 06 June 2011
An investigation has been launched after a major fire near Dover last night.
At its height nearly 50 firefighters tackled the blaze. Just one crew is now left to damp down hotspots.
They were called to a disused nursing home in Temple Ewell, just off London Road, at around 6.30pm yesterday.
The roof and first floor of the property are thought to have been affected.
