Arrests have been made in connection with a Christmas day assault on a teenager.
Kent police confirmed five men have been arrested and bailed following the attack in which the injured man, who is thought to be from the Gillingham area, was assaulted in the Aldi store car park in Duncan Road, Gillingham, at about 2.40am on Thursday.
Detectives investigating the attack are appealing for witnesses and say the victim, in his late teens, is now getting specialist treatment in a London hospital.
A spokesman for Kent police said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the attack and could help us with our enquiries."
