A GREYHOUND jointly owned by the directors and management team at Gravesend & Northfleet FC lines up in the Ladbroke Golden Jacket Final at Crayford tonight.
Fleet Flyer, which is owned by manager Andy Ford, his assistant Phil Handford, and four of the club directors, runs in a six-dog race at 9.45pm. It is being screened live on Sky TV.
Club secretary Roly Edwards said: "I don't know how the dog managed to get into this final but it's quite an achievement. It can take years for some owners to do this without ever getting close.
"If it wins, the intention is to give all the money to the football club although it probably won't come first. But it does have a one-in-six chance so we'll keep our fingers crossed."
