Flight into London Manston cancelled
00:00, 21 September 2001
A FLY-CRUISE from New York to London Manston was cancelled because of increased security at JFK airport. The flight that was due to land on Friday would have transferred passengers to Dover for the start of a cruise and returned with those who had finished their holiday.
A spokesman for London Manston said: “The flight operators cannot run this service because charter aircraft are not available.
“Cruise passengers docking at Dover cruise terminal will travel back to America from other airports as scheduled flights become available.”
