Folkestone Invicta relegated from Ryman League Premier Division while Maidstone United fight on

Folkestone Invicta's relegation from the Ryman League Premier Division was confirmed with a 2-0 defeat at Kingstonian on Saturday afternoon.
Horsham's 3-0 win at Hendon on Saturday lunchtime meant Maidstone United and Folkestone needed to realistically win all their remaining four games to stand any chance of staying up.
Hastings United slipped to fifth-bottom after Horsham's win and goals in either half saw them fall to a 2-1 defeat at leaders Sutton United.
Neil Cugley's side (pictured) held out at Kingstonian for 65 minutes before falling behind and defeat was sealed five minutes into stoppage time with a second for the Ks as Invicta made an immediate return to Division 1 South, sitting 10 points adrift of Hastings with just three games remaining.
The Stones lived to fight another day after recording their first home win of the season at the 20th attempt with a 2-0 win over Concord Rangers.
Dan Stubbs put the Stones ahead on 32 minutes and Laurence Harvey grabbed the crucial second seven minutes from time for United, who had taken five points from a possible 57 at Homelands before Saturday's game.
The Stones inferior goal difference leaves them effectively seven points adrift of Hastings with both teams having three games remaining.
