Several flood alerts have been issued across the county as a result of high spring tides and strong winds.
The Environment Agency has placed warnings around Kent, including Gravesend, Medway, Sittingbourne, Herne Bay, Sandwich and Dover.
A large tidal surge is expected to affect multiple areas including the foreshore from Ramsgate to Kingsdown around lunchtime.
Tides will be at their highest between 11.30am and noon, with high tide at 11.45am.
Flooding of roads and low-lying land is expected at these times, however flooding may happen two to four hours either side of high tide.
In a statement the Environment Agency said: "We expect flooding to affect coastal areas, particularly low lying land and roads nearest the sea.
"Coastal conditions are expected to continue until after the high tides at 12.45pm on Wednesday.
"We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff are prepared to respond if required."
