CLIFTONVILLE tenpin bower Georgia Cooper has become the first club member to represent Junior Team England at the World Sports Festival in Vienna on July 4-6.
The year eight student at Clarendon House Grammar School for Girls started bowling when she was nine, and has just passed first year exams in the junior enhanced training programme held over a five month period in Sheffield.
She hopes to be invited back for a second year at the Academy, having the opportunity of working with the best young bowlers and national coaches.
Georgia won’t be short of support with parents John and Julie making the trip as well
She is sponsored by Bugsy’s Pro Shop who have helped with the supply of new bowling balls and equipment.
