Gillingham have retained six of their young squad players for next season.
Keeper Daren Hawkes, Joe Carter, Jack Evans (pictured), Callum Davies, Tom Brunt and Alex Brown have all had the one-year option taken up on their contracts.
After a loan spell with Welling, right-back Evans played seven times for the Gills in the second half of the campaign.
Back-up keeper Hawkes is yet to make his first-team bow but spent various spells on loan at non-league sides last season.
Davies featured three times as a substitute last season while Brunt and Carter are still to appear for the first team.
Brown made his league debut in the final game of the season, coming on as a late substitute against Morecambe.
