Gillingham have confirmed that Championship side Watford will visit Priestfield for a pre-season match this summer.
Sean Dyche’s side will pay a visit on Tuesday, August 7.
They finished 11th last season in the Championship and could field former Gills player Nyron Nosworthy.
The Hornets are the second side from the Championship to have agreed to play the Gills. Charlton will also face the League 2 side in a pre-season test.
The Gills have already agreed trips to Kent sides Dartford (July 21), Ebbsfleet (July 28) and Dover (July 31).
A game at Priestfield has also been arranged against the Royal Engineers, on July 25, as part of Gillingham’s centenary celebrations.
The league season starts on Saturday, August 18 and the fixtures will be published on Monday, June 18.
