Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler recalls Connor Essam from Dartford and Jack Evans from Welling United

Gillingham have recalled defenders Connor Essam and Jack Evans ahead of this weekend’s match with Hereford.
Both players were on loan in the Blue Square Bet South with central defender Essam at Dartford and full-back Evans with Welling.
Essam (pictured right) is a second year professional but as yet has not made a first team appearance.
The Darts remained unbeaten while 19-year-old Essam was there on loan.
Evans (left), 18, a first year pro, has made one substitute appearance for the Gills senior team after coming off the bench in the 5-2 win at Torquay.
The Gills have conceded eight goals in their last two games and defenders Simon King (ankle) and Matt Fish (ankle) are currently sidelined, meaning both Essam and Evans are likely to be involved in some way against Hereford.
Fish is likely to be out for another month with an injury he picked up in a practice match.
