Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler earmarked special praise for his captain Andy Frampton after he led the side to victory at Leyton Orient on Saturday.
Frampton, pictured, was a key man in the heart of defence, in the 1-0 win at Brisbane Road.
"He is an absolute top captain and I am glad I brought him to the football club," Hessenthaler said.
"Everyone talked to me about him, people like Neil Harris, who I know well. He was spot-on about him.
"He has been phenomenal and he leads the team and organises them. Once they cross that white line you are reliant on the players and he is a great captain."
