Gillingham fans expect their side to get back on the winning trail when they host Accrington Stanley

Gillingham's automatic promotion push has stuttered after seven draws in their last nine games but our panel expect to see their side put one in the win column against Accrington Stanley this weekend.
SAM LIVINGSTONE
(Pangbourne)
"Accrington will be a big match, as if we win this then I think the rest of the season will be just preparation for the play-offs, as quite a gap is appearing in both directions.
"I think we will win in an unspectacular fashion in much the same way as the majority of our home games have gone.
"Accrington may be lots of points behind us but they also have a few games in hand, making them dangerous rivals so we need to beat them.
"A win and favourable results elsewhere could reignite a late automatic promotion chase as we are more than capable of easily winning our next five or six matches against some poor teams.
"If we can go on a little run, then maybe we could do something. However, the team is not playing to its full potential at the moment and away from home we seem to be a bit shaky."
Prediction: Gills 2 Accrington 1
PAUL BLAKELEY
(Maidstone)
"So the Gills’ unbeaten run goes on, however, it’s extended by yet another draw.
"I’m an optimistic Gills fan (see all the predictions for away wins I did!) but unless something dramatic happens, I can’t see us getting automatic promotion.
"We’d need to start getting wins consistently and at the moment we’re solid but not killing off games. It was was the same at Southend, although it is heartening we’re creating the chances.
"It’s a shame as there seems to be the ability within the squad but things are just a few per cent short.
"Special mention must go to Lawrence and Richards who have been outstanding. It is strange to think central defence is our strongest position now.
"Part of me still believes we can conjure up enough wins to sneak into the automatic promotion places but I think that’s a hopeful romantic part of me!"
Prediction: Gills 2 Accrington 1
JAMES PEMBLE
(Gillingham)
"After another draw (albeit a decent one) at Southend on Tuesday, my big hope is that the Gills can now kick on in the possibe hope of achieving automatic promotion.
"The home form has been consistently good so I’m hoping for a solid win."
Prediction: Gills 2 Accrington 0
RICHARD PEPPER
(Manston)
Every match is now a must win, but sadly automatic is now beyond us. We would have to not only catch up but hope the teams around us drop points and lose games in hand.
On Tuesday we were unable yet again to hold onto a lead, not once but twice. On our day we are a match for anybody in League 2, but sadly those days have been few and far between in what has been a very inconsistant and average season, and one of great disappointment.
This is a diffcult one to call, but if McDonald can find his scoring boots and with Weston in fine form we should take all three points.
Prediction: Gills 3 Accrington 1
ACCRINGTON FAN
Martyn Biddulph
Things have been really looking up on the field for Accrington lately. Aside from the customary away defeat at Rotherham the players have put together a really good run of form.
The play-offs are still possible and with a bigger squad than in recent seasons there is no reason why the club cannot make the top seven. Ten points from the last twelve has seen an impressive movement up the table and the team is looking a lot more solid at the back (three clean sheets in a row being particularly pleasing).
I'm not expecting a high scoring repeat of last time but I'm sure it will be another great game. I expect Terry Gornell and Ian Craney to be the key men on Saturday, both have been fantastic since returning to the club.
Prediction: Gills 1 Accrington 1
