Gillingham forward Dennis Oli set to miss the rest of the League 2 season
14:31, 07 April 2011
Gillingham assistant manager Ian Hendon has confirmed that striker Dennis Oli is unlikley to play again this season.
Oli (pictured) was injured for the reserves in midweek and Hendon admitted that the forward is unlikely to feature in the club's remaining six league games.
"He has damaged his medial ligament and barring him healing very quickly that looks like (he is out) for the season now," said Hendon.
"It is disappointing as we need all the bodies we can get. He has been stop-start all season and is obviously disappointed."
