Gillingham will be aiming to extend the loan of winger Jordan Obita this week.
The 18-year-old came to the end of his original one month youth loan deal at the weekend.
The Gills are believed to be keen on taking the teenager on for a further month providing they can reach agreement with his parent club Reading.
Obita was an unused substitute during Saturday's 2-0 win over Macclesfield.
During the month he has made six appearances - with five starts - and scored three goals.
