Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler hits out at under-performing side after loss at Shrewsbury Town
09:19, 16 January 2012
Gillingham suffered their eighth league defeat of the season at Shrewsbury to leave everyone at the club under pressure, according to boss Andy Hessenthaler.
The defeat left their hopes of automatic promotion dented further as they finished the weekend sitting seventh in League 2. They are now 10 points off the top three.
Hessenthaler described the performance at Shrewsbury as "unacceptable" as his side came off second best to their promotion rivals.
