Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler is sorry for a mix-up with Ipswich Town striker Ronan Murray

Andy Hessenthaler has apologised to young Ipswich striker Ronan Murray after a potential loan move to Gillingham collapsed last week.
Murray was expecting to join the Gills but Hessenthaler admitted there were crossed wires after landing Frank Nouble from West Ham.
"It was a bit of a mix-up," said Hessenthaler. "It’s disappointing how it was handled and I’ve apologised to the lad.
"We played them last week and we thought that the lad was going to come in on Monday but he came on Thursday.
"He is a good player and will do well at Ipswich, he looked a livewire."
Hessenthaler has now ruled out any immediate loan moves and insisted he is happy with his current options.
"We’re happy with the squad," he said. "It’s just picking the right team in the games.
"It’s not always going to be the same team, you pick them accordingly to win games and that might be the case again next week."
