Gillingham midfielder Jack Payne agrees to extend his contract at Priestfield until 2015

Gillingham midfielder Jack Payne has agreed a two year extension to his current contract.
The 19-year-old has become hot property for the Gills since signing on a professional terms at the club in 2009.
His previous deal was set to expire at the end of next season but will now be tied to the Gills until the summer of 2015.
Payne (pictured), from Cliffe, made his debut back in October 2008 and has already made 65 appearances for the club and scored three goals – including two stunners this season.
Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler, who last week warned any teams wanting to sign Payne that it would take something “very big”, was thrilled the teenager had agreed the deal.
He said: “It’s great news that Jack has committed himself to the football club. Jack is a local lad who has a hunger and desire to do well for this club.”
