Gillingham remain in talks with League 2 rivals Bristol Rovers over the future of Jo Kuffour.
The striker (pictured) has just over a month left on his current loan deal but Kuffour, with five goals in nine appearances, has already indicated his desire to make a permanent switch to Priestfield.
He has four league games remaining of his loan spell.
Manager Andy Hessenthaler said: "Hopefully, we might be able to get a deal with him and then we can have him here permanently for the next couple of years."
Should Gillingham do all that is possible to try and sign Jo Kuffour on a permanent basis? Why not have your say on the matter, by adding some comments below.
