Frank Nouble ends his three month loan spell this weekend and he’s determined to go out with a bang.

The on-loan striker (pictured) has struck five goals for Gillingham so far and wants to add to that tally on Saturday before returning to West Ham.

He said: “I definitely want to get a goal and try and get man-of-the-match as well, which I haven’t got yet. I just want goals because we haven’t scored in the last two league games.

“It has been a good loan spell for me. I am glad it is a home game as there are more fans to be playing infront of and they have supported me really well.

“On our last our home game a lot of people came but we got a goalless draw. Hopefully this time we can score some goals and have a good game.

“The Bristol Rovers defenders can expect all action. We will be trying to get goals and being as positive as we can. We have been on a good run but we have to win our home games if we want to be going for promotion.”

Nouble has reached the maximum 93 day period allowed under short term loan rules, but Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler has already hinted that he could make another move for the 20-year-old former Chelsea youngster, when the transfer window reopens in January.

His number one priority is to return to West Ham and force his way into Sam Allardyce’s Championship team but is keeping his options open and hasn’t ruled out a return to Priestfield in the future.

He said: “I have done well at Gillingham, which has been good for my confidence. I want to go back to West Ham, try and maintain that form and get into that side.

“That is my aim and it’s my parent club so I want to do well for them. I have played a lot of games for Gillingham so hopefully I can get a sniff now.

“If I can’t then it’s a different story.

“If Gillingham came in again for a loan then I would be more than happy to look at it because I have enjoyed my time here.”
