Gillingham's game against Hereford United at Priestfield is called off because of a frozen pitch
11:30, 03 February 2012
Gillingham have been forced to postpone Saturday’s game with Hereford.
A pitch inspection revealed part of the surface is already frozen despite being covered since Monday.
Referee assessor Paul Alcock made the decision on Friday morning and contacted the Football League to let them know the game would not go ahead.
A new date for the fixture will be announced shortly.
