TWO teenage girls were robbed as they walked along Marine Terrace on Margate seafront. The girls were approached from behind by two youths.

One of of the robbers snatched a £20 note being carried by one of the victims. The thieves then ran off.

The first youth is thought to be aged 15 or 16. He is about 5ft 8in tall with black, collar length hair. He was wearing a white baseball cap, a black denim jacket and baggy black jeans.

The second youth was aged about 16, and about 5ft 5ins tall. He was wearing a red puffer jacket, blue tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

CCTV tapes are being checked, but anyone with information is asked to contact Margate police on Thanet 231055.
