The government is going to hold daily news conferences to provide updates on the Covid-19 outbreak - as 1,543 people are confirmed as positive.
Boris Johnson or a senior minister will be joined by experts while scientific data and modelling will also be published.
The news comes after increasing calls for more clarity from the government on how they are managing the virus.
A leaked document from Public Health England has confirmed healthcare workers who have symptoms may not be tested and nearly eight-million people could need hospital treatment over the next year because of the pandemic.
So far, 35 people in the UK have died, 1,543 have tested positive and 42,562 have been tested but do not have coronavirus. 44,105 people have been tested.
In Kent, 13 cases have been confirmed. The first was discovered at Maidstone studios on March 2. The second case was a person who was known to the first.
Two cases in Medway forced a two day closure of St John Fisher for a deep clean.
