Homes planned for old school site in East Malling

Planning permission has been granted for two sites near Maidstone.
East Malling and Larkfield Parish Council has approved the building of 23 homes at The Schoolyard on the site of the old school in Mill Street, East Malling.
Hillreed Homes will be building 23 two, three and four-bedroom homes all in traditional style, with the conveniences of modern day living.
It will feature a public square and an open space. Individual homes will have a garage and a private drive. The company is also to include some new house types.
Planning has also been granted for eight homes at Perry Court Farm. Wateringbury Road, East Malling. This is an exceptional site on the edge of the village surrounded by countryside.
There will be a choice of bespoke designed homes ranging from a farmhouse that is being totally renovated and extended, to new three and four-bedroom houses and an oast house. All have large gardens and open aspects.
