HORSES ran loose on the M20 near Leeds Castle on yesterday afternoon after an accident involving a horse trailer.
Police were called to the scene of the accident near junction eight just after 4.30pm. When officers arrived the two horses were being held by other motorists. They had escaped after the trailer in which they were being transported turned over after being involved in a collision with another vehicle.
Neither the horses nor any human passengers were hurt.
